• Sunday, October 14th  Come and join our Women's Day Celebration.  Our guest speaker is Justine Norman-Boyd, who currently serves as the Regional Development Director for the Atlanta Region of the United Negro College Fund where she oversees the development initiatives of five states which support 20 historically black colleges and universities.  Women of God unite! 

• Saturday, October 20th @ 11am  Youth Choir Rehearsal. Come check it out!

• To the Rev. Dr. Gerald Durley, Pastor Emeritus at the Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, for maintaining the pulpit duties during Pastor Jones' military absence.  Many thanks to Rev. Tolton Pace who is doing an outstanding job teaching Bible Study.     

OUR WORLD NEEDS PRAYER!!!

PEOPLE OF GOD!!!  Remember, "For We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12 NKJV).  Stay focused.  Stay prayerful.  Stay strong, trust God and never live in fear.  Go forward!

What We Believe...

It is our belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  Christ died on the cross so that our sins can be forgiven.  Accepting Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour is what makes us saved and  it allows us to be "filled" with the Holy Spirit.  Serving the Lord is what makes us worthy of the blessings and the joys promised.  We love the Lord.  We serve the Lord.  We love one another.  We support one another. 

Our task is to preach and teach the Word of God to the people of God in such a way as to move us to make choices and changes in our lives that will allow God to have His way in and through us.  Everyone, regardless of age, race, gender or religious "affiliation" needs to know that Jesus Christ died on the cross for their sins and all Christ asks in return is that we form a personal relationship with him and and receive the Holy Spirit.

Here, I have to warn you that this personal relationship with Christ, if it is true, if it is based on faith and love and trust, it can bring you everything you desire in life.  The warning is needed because others may not have that same level of faith, love and trust that you might have and subsequently they might not understand or appreciate the "new you."  Keep growing and going forward and God will give you what you need in due time. 

Hang in there because the changes in your life will be worth the effort.
